Measuring devices of the TCA 300 series are compact, robust desktop devices equipped with an integrated Single Board Computer (SBC) with Windows 10 operating system, the software Lambda 2016 and a high resolution color touch display that can be operated in standalone mode.

Numerous interfaces such as RS232, USB and Gigabit Ethernet enable the connectivity to peripheral devices and the fast and convenient transfer of all relevant data. The direct connection to a printer allows for printing test reports without using an additional PC.

Devices with heat flow meter are primarily used in the industry for quality and production control because they deliver reliable measuring results within a very short time. Adherence to the required calibration routine ensures that these devices achieve nearly the same accuracy as devices with guarded hot plate.

Heat flow meter devices use one or several heat flow measuring plates to determine the heat flow density q in (W/m²). Their possible layout is defined in the standard ISO 8301, section 2.2.1.2.

All TCA devices from TAURUS Instruments are designed according to the one-plate-principle with two symmetrically arranged heat flow measuriמכשיר למדידת מוליכות תרמית עם מד זרימת חום בהתאםng plates according to ISO 8301, section 2.2.1.2, figure 1b. This measuring method is an indirect method with the heat flow meters generating a voltage signal equivalent to the heat flow and therefore need to be calibrated.
