GripTips snap on
Do your pipette tips ever loosen, leak or fall off? This is a common issue in laboratories, caused by the use of universal pipette tips. Such tips require “hammering on” which stretches the shape of the pipette tip rim. The stretched pipette tip rim immediately starts moving back to its original shape, away from the tip cone. This can cause leaking, misaligned tips and even pipette tips that completely fall off the pipette!
This will never happen with any VIAFLO II electronic pipette / GripTip combination. Featuring a low attachment force and a low ejection force, GripTips effortlessly snap onto the tip fittings and are easily ejected. Also, GripTips feature a high lateral resistance once attached to the VIAFLO II pipettes. This means GripTips are always firmly attached and perfectly aligned, regardless of how many side well touch offs are performed. You no longer have to hammer your pipette tips on or worry about pipette tips falling off!

Convenient operation and navigation
The Touch Wheel is a quick and ergonomic way to modify pipetting parameters. Instead of repeatedly pushing buttons or twisting fingers to modify volumes, you simply slide your finger over the wheel.
The Touch Wheel enables you to browse through menus, change pipetting volumes and speeds or other settings.
Easy to read display
On the screen. The entire menu structure is available in English, French, German, Chinese or Japanese.
VIAFLO pipettes feature full text menus, which makes it especially easy to operate the pipette.

Immediately productive
VIAFLO electronic pipettes are easier to operate than manual pipettes and let you get started quickly. The VIAFLO pipettes feature 10 preset pipetting programs, for which only a few parameters such as volume and speed need to be defined.

Customized pipetting programs
For more elaborate pipetting protocols, up to 40 user defined custom programs can be created. The custom program is a step-based setup queuing liquid handling steps such as aspirate, dispense, mix and more.
Convenient pipette and program management
VIAFLO pipettes can also be connected to a computer via the serial communication / charging stand (4211). With the free to use pipette management software VIALINK, custom programs can be created on the computer and then be transferred onto VIAFLO pipettes.
For laboratories with many users or power users with many pipetting protocols, all custom programs can be stored and backed up in a library on the computer.
